Casque à pointe Badois M95 régimenté LGR109 Scharmann - 1st part.
Superbe casque à pointe badois M95 régimenté et nominatif.
il est particulier car il a appartenu à un soldat du LGR109, alors que c'est un casque à garnitures laitons, et que le 109ème porte un casque à garnitures maillechort et le griffon avec l'étoile.
il est pourtant bien régimenté à la main au LGR109, et avec le nom du porteur, la tracabilité est établie :
Anton Scharmann est incorporé le 3 aout 1914 au LIR6 puis rejoint le LGR109 le 1er octobre 1914. Le régiment ne disposant sans doute plus de casques spécifiques, Anton Scharmann conserve son casque laiton, sans que cela soit gênant, les casques étant recouverts d'un couvre casque.
Anton Scharmann a combattu de fin 1914 à fin 1915 dans le secteur Lens Loos Bethune Notre dame de Lorette jusqu'à sa capture en octobre 15 (informations visibles dans la 2nde partie)
Ce casque a été retrouvé sans plaque ni cocarde, et complété avec des pièces authentiques ayant la même patine. La jugulaire est celle d'origine.

The owner, Anton Scharmann was first in the LIR6 and join the LGR109 october 1st 1914. At this period, the specific helmet of the regiment (white parts and special plate) was probably out of stock for the new recruits so Anton keep his classic helmet, the difference was invisible under the helmet cover.

The helmet was found without plate and cockades, and has been completed with original parts with the same patina. The chin strap is its original strap. .
